Blog post #3 How I came about my way of modding

" In my opinion, the peak of modding is still at 2009, when all kinds of amazing mods came about from PMWT09. The tremble in my heart when I first saw those mods, were deeply engraved inside me. It also greatly inspired me as a designer.

But before I talk about how I became me, I'll have to mention 3 of my best friends. JamE2, BurningFinger, and SanChiu33. All of them are the best modders in China, which I do look up to. It is also because of them, that I would ever lay my eyes on the art made during 2009. Amongst all of them, the one who inspired me the most would have to be BurningFinger. (One of the other inspirers of my style is Guitrum, but I'll save that story for another time)

I can definetly say that, without them I would have no way of being who I am today. While JamE2 and BurningFinger hugely impacted my style, the one who impacted on how I think was SanChiu33, which is also my master. (In the Chinese culture it is very common to find a master and learn below them as a student.)

We had great times talking non-stop about modding and how we thought of it. Even though we bashed each other with near polar opposite thinkings, we had the common mind that modding can be a seperate artform of itself. It is also him, that lead me to think that mods don't have to be spinnable."
